UMass Lowell’s Center for Public Opinion conducted a survey from Wednesday, Oct. 16, through Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024, of 600 likely Michigan voters in the upcoming 2024 U.S. general election regarding the races for president and U.S. Senate in the Great Lakes state.

Key Findings:

  • Vice President Kamala Harris is in a tight race with former President Donald Trump at 49% and 45%, respectively.
  • Democrat Elissa Slotkin remains ahead of Republican Mike Rogers in Michigan’s race for U.S. Senate at 48% to 39%.

New Hampshire: Harris Slightly Ahead of Trump

UMass Lowell’s Center for Public Opinion conducted a survey from Thursday, Oct. 10, through Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, of 600 likely New Hampshire voters in the upcoming 2024 U.S. general election regarding the races for president and governor in the Granite State.

Key Findings:

  • Vice President Kamala Harris slightly leads former President Donald Trump, 50% to 43%, respectively.
  • Nearly half of respondents (45%) support former U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte while 43% support former Manchester Mayor Joyce Craig in a close race for the Granite State’s governorship.

North Carolina: Trump, Harris Essentially Tied

  • With 12% of respondents undecided, Democrat Josh Stein holds a slight lead, at 48%, over Republican Mark Robinson (36%) in the race for North Carolina governor.

  • Senator Bob Casey Jr. leads David McCormick in the race for U.S. Senate, 48% to 42%, respectively.
