Advance your education, career and earning potential through UMass Lowell’s Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) in Mechanical Engineering. Our program, which offers concentrations in energy, mechanics, design, thermofluids and more, will bring you up to date on the latest technologies, trends and innovations through our state-of-the-art labs and research centers.

Masters in Mechanical Engineering Curriculum

The M.S. Eng. in Mechanical Engineering degree requires at least 30 credit hours of acceptable graduate work, including nine credit hours of research for the thesis option or nine credit hours in an acceptable out-of-department secondary concentration for the non-thesis option.
