Description

Nuclear Systems Design and Analysis provides an overview of design features, requirements and technical specifications in a practical design approach/setting using the existing general configuration for a Nuclear Power Plants' Systems as a baseline without "reinventing the wheel". This course will also use related fundamental nuclear engineering skills acquired in previous courses, such as reactor physics, radiation shielding, thermal hydraulics, transient analysis, heat transport, and fuel management or economic analysis.

Prerequisites

ENGY4310, and ENGY.4340, and ENGY.4350, and CHEN.3170, and CHEN.3110, and CHEN.3030, and CHEN.3040, or equivalents of each of these, and Anti-req: ENGY.4390 Please Note: Academic petition is required for anti-req exceptions.
