When submitting a proposal for an external funding opportunity, many sponsors will require the application to be submitted through a specific submission portal. It is critical to review the guidelines early in the process to determine which portal is required as the PI may need to create an individual account. These accounts often need to be linked to the institutional profile within the portal, and therefore, the Office of Sponsored Programs may need to approve access.
