Collaborate With Us
Partners Within UMass Lowell
While we currently work with faculty within the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences, we encourage faculty across the university to collaborate with us on research projects in Health Assessment Lab (HAL). Learn about projects conducted in HAL.
External Partners Invited to Conduct Research in HAL
We also work with external partners. For example, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) conducts biomonitoring to collect information on individual exposure to various chemicals.
Biomonitoring is the measurement of chemicals in a person’s body fluids or tissues, such as blood or urine. Measurements provide valuable information on levels of exposure to chemicals from activities like eating, breathing, bathing, and using consumer products. The HAL is used for a sampling event location.
External partners who are interested in collaborating with the University should contact us via email at: HAL@uml.edu.
Please review HAL's Policies and Procedures (pdf).
