Urgent Needs and Other Options

We recognize that some students may have urgent items sent during these times. The Lowell Post Office located next to the Tsongas Center has P.O. boxes available for rent and other vendors in the city are still available for private mail services.

Use the Amazon lockers in O'Leary Library (Amazon Locker - Moody) and at the East Campus Garage (Amazon Locker - Enoki) for on-campus deliveries if you are ordering from Amazon.

Packages and mail received for students not currently residing on campus are subject to the university’s standard procedures and will be “returned to sender."

Please adjust all shipping addresses to reflect your current residential address.

Picking up Mail and Packages

Campus residents are required to provide their student ID to be scanned when claiming an article. All mail and packages must be picked up during regular scheduled hours of operations at designated Student Mail Center.

Notifications and storage of mail and parcels

  • Students will receive an email on their university email account when first class mail or a parcel is received.
  • U.S. Mail and Parcels will be held for seven calendar days at the Student Mail Centers.
  • After seven calendar days of receipt, unclaimed articles will be returned to sender.
  • For special circumstances, arrangements may be approved for additional holding subject to pre-approval.
