Pharmaceutical Sciences Minor
Students interested in expanding their knowledge in the areas of pharmaceutical drug design, discovery, and development may choose to pursue the interdisciplinary minor in Pharmaceutical Sciences offered by the Department of Biomedical & Nutritional Sciences.
Prior to declaring the minor, students must meet the following requirements:
- Complete two semesters of chemistry with the associated labs (HSCI.2510 / HSCI.2530 & HSCI.2520 / HSCI.2540 OR CHEM.1210 / CHEM.1230L & CHEM.1220 / CHEM.1240L
- Earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.500 in these courses
The minor in Pharmaceutical Sciences consists of 18 credits. Students must attain a cumulative GPA of 2.500 in their minor courses to earn the minor.
Required Courses (9 credits)
- PHRM.1010 Introduction to the Pharmaceutical Industry
- PHRM.3200 Molecular Pharmacology
- PHRM.4100 Basic Pharmaceutics
Electives (9 credits)
