Amenities and Equipment Rentals

UMass Lowell (UML) students/faculty/staff and Campus Recreation Center (CRC) paid members can checkout equipment for free with their UML ID. Simply bring your UML ID to our CRC Welcome Desk to checkout and return your equipment. All equipment must be returned back to the CRC Welcome Desk at least 15 minutes prior to closing.

Please note: Any damaged or lost/stolen equipment may be subject to a replacement fee.

There are options to rent equipment to be used in the CRC, the Campus Recreation Complex (turf fields and tennis courts across the street from the CRC on Aiken St.), or on the mini turf field in front of the CRC on Pawtucket Street.

• Towels
• Basketballs
• Ping Pong & Billiards equipment
• Racquetball & Badminton equipment
• Tennis & Pickleball equipment
• Wallyball equipment
• Fitness & Conditioning Equipment (i.e. weight belts, cones, ladders, jump ropes, etc.)
• Lap Counters
• Soccer Balls, Footballs, Frisbees (to be used outside on turf fields)
• Pugg Soccer Nets (to be used outside on turf field in front of CRC)

A majority of the lockers inside the CRC are day use only. There are a limited number of lockers inside the men's and women's locker room that are available for long-term rentals. 

Any items left in a day-use locker overnight will be removed and placed in our lost and found. Valuables like wallets, cell phones, credit cards, ID's, etc. will be handed over to UMass Lowell (UML) Campus Police.

There are lockers inside both the men's and women's locker rooms and first floor hallway. Most lockers have built in mechanical locks so there is no need to bring your own lock. We recommend not bringing valuables, but if you do we suggest members lock them securely in a locker. The CRC is not responsible for any lost / stolen items.

Patrons can rent overnight lockers inside our Campus Recreation Center (CRC) locker rooms. This is in addition to our CRC free daily use locker options. A personal lock (or built-in mechanical lock) is provided with rental fee. Lockers are on a first-come, first-served basis, and a limited number is available. Register and pay inside the CRC (no cash). Current long-term locker rental options and fees are listed below.
