UMass Lowell offers graduate and undergraduate degree programs in several fields of engineering.

The following Bachelor of Science in Engineering programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria.

  • Biomedical Engineering. The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Biomedical Engineering) program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Biomedical Engineering Program Criteria.
  • Chemical Engineering. The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Chemical Engineering) program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Chemical Engineering Program Criteria.
  • Chemical Engineering: Nuclear Engineering Option. The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Chemical Engineering with a Nuclear Engineering Option) program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Chemical Engineering and Nuclear Engineering.
  • Civil Engineering. The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil Engineering) program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Civil Engineering Program Criteria.
  • Computer Engineering. The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Computer Engineering) program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Computer Engineering Program Criteria.
  • Electrical Engineering. The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical Engineering) program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Electrical Engineering Program Criteria.
  • Environmental Engineering. The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Environmental Engineering) program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Environmental Engineering Program Criteria.
  • Mechanical Engineering. The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Mechanical Engineering.
  • Plastics Engineering. The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Plastics Engineering) program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Plastics Engineering

The new program in Industrial Engineering will be up for accreditation upon graduation of their respective first class of students. Engineering Technology bachelor's degree programs are accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET.
