UMass Lowell offers graduate and undergraduate degree programs in several fields of engineering.
The following Bachelor of Science in Engineering programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) under the commission’s General Criteria.
- The Biomedical Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Biomedical Engineering
- The Chemical Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Chemical Engineering
- The Chemical Engineering: Nuclear Engineering Option program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Chemical Engineering and Nuclear Engineering.
- The Civil Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Civil Engineering.
- The Computer Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Computer Engineering.
- The Electrical Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Electrical Engineering.
- The Environmental Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Environmental Engineering.
- The Mechanical Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Mechanical Engineering.
- The Plastics Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria with no applicable program criteria.
The new program in Industrial Engineering will be up for accreditation upon graduation of their respective first class of students. Engineering Technology bachelor's degree programs are accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET.
