Campus AEDs
Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are stored in wall-mounted boxes, labeled "AED."
UMass Lowell has Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in every major building and other traffic points on campus.
Throughout the year, UMass Lowell EMS, in conjunction with the Office of Life Safety and Emergency Management, inspects and tests every on-campus AED, ensuring they are all fully functional and ready for use in the case of an emergency.

Campus First Aid Kits
First Aid Kits are stored in every lab, high traffic location, and any area on campus where risk of injury can be mitigated. They are of various shapes and sizes depending on the need and are not regularly inspected by EMS. It is the individual departments responsibility to inspect their respective First Aid Kits. If a department representative notices a deficiency with a First Aid Kit or would like to request a kit to be re-supplied, please email UMass_EMS@uml.edu detailing your request.
