Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.
The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.

Training Dates 2024-2025
- October 1 and 3, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. each day, Saab Emerging Technologies & Innovation Center (ETIC) Atrium
- November 19 and 21, 2024 from 1-5 p.m., Allen House
- March 13, 2025 from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., University Crossing 260A
- April 14 and 16, 2025 from 1-5 p.m., Saab Emerging Technologies & Innovation Center (ETIC) Atrium
- June 9 and 11, 2025 from 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., Allen House
