Students are selected and awarded financial aid based on the availability of funds from specific aid programs, student eligibility, and demonstrated financial need. A student’s financial aid award package may consist of grants, scholarships, student employment, and/or federal student loans based on demonstrated financial need.

Online and Professional Studies

Professional Studies students must be enrolled in an approved degree/certificate program to be considered for financial assistance.

Military Members and Veterans

Veterans and active-duty members of the military are eligible for tuition assistance and other benefits. UMass Lowell also proudly participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program.
