Calculating Tuition and Fee Charges
Undergraduate tuition and fee charges for regular courses are initially charged at the full-time rate (12 or more credits).
- After the add/drop date, students enrolled in fewer than 12 regular credit hours, will have their tuition and fee charges prorated to reflect the rate for their registered regular credit hours.
- Undergraduate student residency determines the tuition and fee rate for regular credit hours.
- Residency is determined by the Office of Enrollment.
- Undergraduate students that register for a course with the Graduate, Online and Professional Studies (GPS) Division are charged in addition to the undergraduate regular credit tuition and fees and according to the prices listed on the GPS tuition and fee Per Credit / Contact Hour Rate Chart.
Graduate tuition and fee charges are billed based upon the following conditions:
- Graduate students are charged per credit up to 12 credits for regular courses.
- Graduate student residency determines the tuition and fee rate for regular credit hours.
- Residency is determined by the Office of Enrollment.
- Graduate students that register for a course with the Graduate, Online and Professional Studies (GPS) Division are charged in addition to the graduate regular credit tuition and fees and according to the prices listed on the GPS tuition and fee Per Credit / Contact Hour Rate Chart.
Online and Professional Studies tuition and fees are based on actual course enrollment according to the prices listed on the Graduate, Online and Professional tuition and fee Per Credit / Contact Hour Rate Chart.
- Online and Professional tuition and fees are not based on residency; therefore, the price is the same whether you are a Massachusetts resident or not.
- Students who enroll in regular courses will have charges assessed based on residency and the applicable per credit Tuition and Fee Rate.
Financial Aid Disbursements
- Disbursements are made after the add/drop period of each semester once enrolled, residency, grade level and housing are confirmed and all program requirements have been met (i.e. loan entrance counseling, promissory notes, etc.).
- Financial aid disbursements are made directly to the student’s account (except in the case of student employment).
