Belonging means knowing that what one is doing has purpose and meaning to themselves and others. 

We within the Office of Residence Life at UMass Lowell are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive campus for all, and hold ourselves accountable in supporting all students and staff and their diverse, intersecting identities. We do this by investing in personal reflection and actions, informed engagement strategies, and equitable policies and procedures to ensure that all individuals feel respected, supported, and valued.
