Biosketch
Sofia D'Ambrosio joined UMass Lowell as a research development specialist in 2023. She supports faculty throughout their pursuit of research funding, from grant opportunity identification to proposal development and submission. Specifically, she provides strategic guidance on proposal preparation, coordinates proposal project management, facilitates research collaborations, and offers professional development trainings related to grant-seeking. Prior to joining UMass Lowell, she was a proposal consultant at Washington State University. She received her Ph.D. in Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences from Washington State University Vancouver and BS in Environmental Science & Technology from the University of Maryland, College Park. She currently works remotely from Portland, Oregon.
