Harris leads Trump 50% to 41% in Granite State

UMass Lowell’s Center for Public Opinion conducted a survey from Wednesday, Oct. 2, through Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, of 600 likely New Hampshire voters in the upcoming 2024 U.S. general election regarding the races for president and U.S. Senate in the Granite State.

Key Findings:

  • Vice President Kamala Harris enjoys a slight lead over former President Donald Trump, 50% to 41%.
  • Despite the close race, Trump remains unpopular among likely voters.
  • The gubernatorial race between Republican former U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte and Democrat Joyce Craig, a former mayor of Manchester, is close at 42% to 41%, respectively.

Narrow margin separates presidential candidates

Key Findings:

  • Remaining close, Harris stands at 46% while Trump is at 45%.
  • Despite the close race, Trump remains unpopular among likely voters.
  • With the support of 48% of respondents, U.S. Sen. Bob Casey Jr. leads David McCormick (39%) in the Pennsylvania race for U.S. Senate.
