Biosketch

Michael Betenbaugh is PI of the IBioNe network, Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, and Center Director of the Advanced Mammalian Biomanufacturing Innovation Center (AMBIC). His research focuses on integrating -omics and systems biology with cellular, metabolic, and biochemical engineering for eukaryotic biotechnology applications.
Betenbaugh has advised numerous PhDs over the course of his career and has received a number of awards including the D.I.C. Wang and Marvin J. Johnson awards. He also consults extensively with industry on biomanufacturing issues.
