The mission of the UMass Lowell Career Services & Cooperative Education Center is to help students successfully transition from their academic pursuits to their career goals by promoting and facilitating career education, exploration of options and connections with employers. The energy industry engages people, laboratories, businesses, corporations, and organizations in the development, implementation, and management of energy generation, infrastructure, distribution, monitoring, and recycling of byproducts and waste energy, as well as the study of the impacts of energy systems on the environment, both natural and built.
The Center for Energy Innovation, in collaboration with with the Career and Co-op Center can help connect employers and students with career goals in the field of energy, especially renewable energy.
