The Massachusetts Innovation Voucher Program (MIVP) has not been funded for FY '25
A state voucher program funded by the Massachusetts legislature gives Massachusetts-based small and medium sized businesses (<50 FTEs) access to UMass Lowell’s leading-edge research facilities of up to 75 percent off standard rates.
Twelve professionally-staffed core research facilities (CRF), with technologies including materials characterization, flow cytometry, DNA sequencing, NMR, robotics testing, and a clean room nanofabrication facility, are available for use with the voucher program.
Eligibility
- Companies with 10 or fewer employees receive a 75 percent subsidy.
- Companies with 11-50 employees receive a 50 percent subsidy.
- Awardees must establish an account with the Core Research Facility.
- Companies must be headquartered and registered to do business in the state of Massachusetts.
