Three states have 57 total electoral votes on the line
10/29/2020
UMass Lowell’s Center for Public Opinion recently conducted a second series of 2020 presidential polls in October of likely voters in three swing states – New Hampshire, North Carolina and Texas – that offer a total of 57 electoral votes in the presidential election. Voters were asked for their preference on candidates for president, U.S. Senate and governor as well as opinions on handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. The results, which include comparison with the findings of the Sept. 29 polls, offer insight into how likely voters in each state view the 2020 election.
