We are delighted to introduce the Healthy Workplace initiative. See below for health and wellness programs and information available to the campus and Lowell communities.

Missionmission

The Healthy Workplace Committee is a collaboration between the University of Massachusetts Lowell Human Resources and Equal Opportunity & Outreach, Environmental and Emergency Management, and the Labor Unit leaders on campus. The Committee is convened to provide guidance and advice around issues related to University employee health and safety policies, programs, and practices. The Committee’s overarching goals are preventing, tracking and remedying workplace hazards and providing a workplace environment that promotes overall health and wellbeing. Committee members participate on one or more subcommittees to achieve progress on specific policies, programs and activities that support the overarching goals. Subcommittees recommend programs to meet as identified.

Vision vision

By 2016, the University of Massachusetts Lowell will be recognized as a great place to work with progressive programs in workplace health and safety. University students, faculty and staff will collaborate to promote healthy environments and personal health as part of our campus culture of learning and working with purpose.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) EAP

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a UMass Lowell-sponsored program to provide employees with confidential assistance with stress, substance abuse, family concerns and other personal problems. This program is managed by ComPsych.

There are two ways to access your benefits:
