Biosketch

Sandra Guy has 26 years of industry experience as Director of HIM (Health Information and Management) and is an avid member of the America Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), Massachusetts Health Information Management Association (MaHIMA), New Hampshire Health Information Management Association (NHHIMA), Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society New England Chapter (NEHIMSS), and Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). She has a great passion for health information technology and principles of management in health related fields. She has taught in this discipline for a decade and has developed a variety of accredited health information management programs for educational institutions throughout New England. Sandra is currently serving as the Graduate Coordinator for the Health Information Management program at UMass Lowell and teaches a variety of courses in the program. Sandra also serves as the Undergraduate Transfer Coordinator for the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences Department of Public Health.
