Each year, the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program recognizes students for a variety of accomplishments, denoted by the following awards.
The Dean's Award is given annually to the graduating student(s) with the highest GPA in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

The Award of Excellence is given annually to the student(s) of the graduating class who demonstrate exceptional extracurricular experience. The decision is based on excellence in research, leadership, service and/or community involvement. A student is nominated by a faculty member, peer, or is self-nominated. In addition to the application, one letter of nomination is required. When self-nominating, a letter from the individual student is required.

The Clinical Excellence Award is given annually to student(s) who have demonstrated outstanding clinical achievement throughout clinical education experiences. Decisions are based on performance as defined by clinical performance instruments (CPIs), recommendations of the students' clinical instructors (CIs), site coordinators (SCCEs), the Clinical Education Coordinator (CEC), the Director of Clinical Education (DCE), and other faculty members who may have been in contact with the student and clinical site during clinical experiences.
