We are here for you every step of the way, from managing stress and anxiety to counseling support, UMass Lowell has resources to help.
Important Things to Know
Health Requirements & Forms: All newly enrolled full time students are required to complete health forms online and upload corresponding documentation to the online Health Services Patient Portal. The deadline to submit this information is August 1 for the fall semester and January 1 for the spring semester. Health Requirements, including immunization information, can be found on the Health Services website.
Health Services Patient Portal: An online patient portal is available to help your student manage their health care needs. Your student can register for a portal account using their UMass Lowell email account, and can use the portal to upload insurance and immunization information, view and cancel upcoming appointments, complete mandatory, university required health forms, and access health education information. Visit the UMass Lowell Health Services Patient Portal.
Stress in College: College life is full of opportunities for personal growth, greater independence and exploration of new social and academic experiences. These wonderful experiences can also be sometimes stressful. It's important to encourage your student to practice self-care throughout their college experience and to seek help and resources if they need it. The UMatter2 program in the Wellness Center offers some great resources to families on how to support your student's mental health.
