Disability Services at UMass Lowell: Developing Self-Advocacy and Passing the Baton from Parent / Guardian to the Student

Join staff from UMass Lowell (UML) Disability Services to learn more about the office and the registration and accommodations process. This session will also discuss how the accommodations process in college differs from what students and families may have experienced in the Kindergarten to 12th grade (K-12) system. Staff will also give tips and recommendations for supporting your student as they transition to UMass Lowell. Hosted on Zoom.

Join this virtual program designed for parents and families of UMass Lowell students. This engaging session offers insight into how the university supports student success, equity, and a strong sense of belonging on campus. Families will hear important updates from the Division of Equity and Inclusion and learn about the resources, initiatives, and campus partnerships dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where all students can thrive.
