American Chemical Society, Rubber Division, UMass Lowell Student Chapter
Funding from the NERPG enabled 12 undergraduate students to attend the International Elastomer Conference in October 2019.
This student chapter is associated with the American Chemical Society (ACS), Rubber Division. The group meets regularly, has presentations from industry guests, arranges tours of manufacturing facilities, and collaborates in Department events like the Holiday Party. The members of the Student Chapter regularly attend professional meetings organized by the New England Rubber and Plastics Group (NERPG) and participate in the annual International Elastomer Conference.
The ACS, Rubber Division, UMass Lowell Student Chapter is always open to new student members, alumni participation, and other connections.
