UMass Lowell is the only public university in Massachusetts to offer part-time associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in engineering technology. Offered by the College of Engineering in collaboration with the university’s Division of Graduate, Online and Professional Studies, Engineering Technology (ET) programs are designed to provide students with an understanding of the latest technologies and industry trends, while further developing their communication and problem solving skills.
The university’s ET Department meets on a regular basis with an industrial advisory board to discuss the latest trends in industry in an effort to ensure that the curriculum reflects modern industrial practice. Students graduating from the ET programs are well prepared to handle the latest issues affecting industry.
