Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! We are excited to announce the plans for the 2025 commencement ceremony on May 17, 2025. There will be a formal Commencement exercises, including speeches and the official conferral of degrees, streamed on our Commencement website and the UMass Lowell's Facebook page.
Undergraduate Checklist:
- Apply for graduation.
- For spring 2025 graduating students, verify that your name and address is accurate for diploma distribution by using the Important Information About Your Diploma (pdf).
- Pre-register with GradImages for your graduation ceremony photo on their website to get 20% off any orders over $50. Please note that there is no obligation to purchase.
- Reserve up to two additional guest tickets (if applicable) beginning April 28, 2025, and be sure to select your corresponding ceremony, either the morning ceremony or the afternoon ceremony. Note: your student ID is your password.
- Once ordered, you can locate your guest tickets by searching for emails from: tsongascenter.ticketoffice@oakviewgroup.com with instructions on how to download or print the tickets. Please check your inbox and spam folder too.
- If you still experience technical difficulties, email the Tsongas Center Ticket Office: tsongascenter.ticketoffice@oakviewgroup.com.
- To maintain a safe and secure environment at the Tsongas Center, we have implemented a new bag policy that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into our venue. Purchase your Tsongas Center-approved clear bag at UMass Lowell Bookstore.
- Send a message of thanks or congratulations to a graduate, professor, friend or family member to be displayed on the ribbon message circulating around the Tsongas Center during their Commencement ceremony. Submission is due by noon on Friday, May 9, 2025.
- Create your personalized commencement slide by Friday, May 9, 2025.
- If you and/or your guest(s) need special accommodations, including but not limited to wheelchair access, hearing assist, etc., please contact relevant parties to make arrangements.
- Unable to attend the Ready, Set, Graduate! event on Monday, April 7, 2025 to pick up your academic regalia (cap, gown, hood) and commencement name card? Here are your alternative pick-up options:
- Between April 7 and May 15, 2025, at UMass Lowell Bookstore on 220 Pawtucket St., Lowell, during normal business hours.
- On Commencement Day, May 17, 2025 at the Tsongas Center:
- Academic Regalia can be picked up at the Bookstore’s tent
- Commencement name cards can be picked up at the Registrar's tent
