The Graphic Design minor introduces students to the fundamental studies of graphic design. Courses call upon students to use both analog and digital processes, and to develop concepts, vocabulary and methodology in the discipline. Through their coursework, students develop a set of creative and technical skills focused on typography, branding design, editorial and social justice projects, preparing them to apply these skillsets in a wide range of industries. The Graphic Design minor pairs well with a variety of majors, as it integrates aspects of communication, teaching, writing, marketing, and digital media production.
The minor in Graphic Design consists of 18-24 credits.
