Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Education Administration
Degree Requirements
Each graduate student is personally responsible for complying with all rules and regulations of Graduate Admissions, the University and the School of Education, and for fulfilling all degree requirements.
Master of Education (M.Ed.)
- Complete a minimum of thirty (30) credits of required course work in a specific degree program with a cumulative GPA of B or better, with no more than six (6) credits with an earned graded below B (3.00) counting toward the Master's.
- Complete satisfactorily the specified internship and/or field practicum, and appropriate seminar, under supervision of a designated faculty member in the School of Education. Practicum are open only to matriculated students who have completed all other degree requirements.
- Complete the degree within five years of the date of admission.
Education Administration (M.Ed.) - Pre-K-12
The purpose of the Educational Administration Program is to develop individuals and teams who will guide educational opportunities in our region in the 21st century. The program is designed to meet the needs of experienced practitioners who seek to broaden and deepen their professional knowledge and to expand the contributions they can make to education.
Professional Experience
Each candidate for the degree in Educational Administration is required to complete at least three years full time, successful employment in a Pre-K-12 setting.

Education Administration (M.Ed.) - Higher Education Option
The M.Ed. Education Administration, Higher Education Option is a thirty credit program which focuses on policy and practice in Higher Education. Courses are offered online, providing the flexibility for working professionals to complete the degree in a timely and convenient manner. They must have an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution which has been earned with a minimum grade point average of 3.000.
