Inclusive Campus Recreation Team
The Inclusive Campus Rec Team was created in the fall of 2015 with the purpose of helping Campus Recreation take steps towards creating a truly inclusive culture throughout our programs and services that impact students, faculty, staff and our patrons. This team is made up of several Campus Recreation student employees from our different program areas as well as Campus Recreation professional staff.
The Inclusive Campus Rec Team offers training for its student employees that focuses on education, celebration of various cultures and identities, and how we can create positive change in our department. The student employees who co-facilitate trainings with professional staff receive more in-depth training and then take that knowledge to be the catalyst for change within our programs and services.
These inclusion trainings are in collaboration with the guidance of the Office of Multicultural Affairs and each of our students who participate are encouraged to go through the Diversity Peer Educator Program. For more information, please email: Justin_Lawler@uml.edu.

How to Report Incidents
UMass Lowell takes the safety and well-being of our campus community seriously. If you, a friend or colleague are a victim of sexual harassment, sexual violence, violence of any type, harassment, bullying, or discrimination you should report this to the appropriate department for action. Your first step should always be making sure you are safe from harm; then if you need it, you should seek and receive medical assistance.
To file a formal complaint, visit the EOO website to contact the appropriate staff person.
