UMass Lowell Rises to Top Research Classification
UMass Lowell is now listed as a Carnegie Research 1 (R1) university, a designation used to identify the nation's top research institutions based on their research activity. This is something only 7% of four-year universities in the United States can say about their commitment to research.New Digital Viewbook
We brought our counselors, web team and content creators (and a ton of other stakeholders all across campus) together this summer to completely turn our digital viewbook on its head. What we ended up with is a real labor of love, and we're excited to present our new YOUbook. This completely customizable digital viewbook was designed to give users the power to tailor the experience and explore the things that matter most to their college search, personally—like majors, clubs and organizations, and more. Check it out for yourself and share the link with your students!
Career and Co-op Center
Value matters right now, and value is where UMass Lowell has always stood above the rest. We're not just talking about low tuition and high future earning potential. We're talking about our impressive job placement rates, our relationships with major employers, our co-op programs, our network of student services and all the ways beyond the classroom that we prepare our students to lead. Our Career and Co-op Center is one of many supports available to students that will help them graduate with the skills employers value.

International School Counselors and Recruiting Partners Visits
The University of Massachusetts Lowell is a welcoming and engaging community, and we are always excited to offer a tour of campus to our partners and school counselors based in other countries. It's the perfect way to see why our university is such a great place to refer international students.
Merit-Based Scholarships
Your students may be eligible for merit-based scholarships. Awards range from $5,000 to $20,000 and are renewable for four years (eight semesters). Your students are automatically considered for the scholarships they are eligible for—no special application is necessary.
