Asian American Center for Excellence & Engagement (AACEE) PEEPS

Peer Educators, Elevating Persistence & Success (PEEPS) is a program established to provide UMass Lowell (UML) students with a drop-in space to promote overall academic wellness. AACEE PEEPS staff are students with expertise in their subject fields that guide peers with similar education tracks through gateway courses and concepts, schedule building and organization, and building healthy study habits. PEEPS receive trainings from AACEE staff as well as tutoring trainings from UML’s Centers for Learning Advising & Student Success (CLASS) to prepare them to aid UML students with anything they might need.

PEEPS also host different workshops that center around bettering various aspects of the academic experience of students including:

  • Memorization techniques
  • Time Management
  • Note Taking
  • Shortcuts, Macros, and Key binding
  • Balancing Studying and Self-care Practices
  • A group of students getting tutor how to fix their resume.
  • Group of Students Attending Event Hosted by a Peer Educators, Elevating Persistence & Success (PEEPS).
