UCards for New Students
New students have the option to submit a photo using our photo submission app that can be found on the Upload UCard Photo and Guidelines webpage or can choose to have their picture taken at the UCard, Access and Parking Services (UCAPS) office. Students will receive information on how to pick up their UCard prior to the start of the fall semester. UCards will allow you access to your residence hall, parking, the Recreation Center, dining halls, and many other locations.
You must be registered for classes before a UCard can be issued.
All students must carry their UCard with them at all times and immediately surrender their UCard upon request by an authorized University/city official such as Police, Administration, Residence Life Staff, etc. Altering, improperly possessing, or lending a University Identification Card to another person for any reason not expressly authorized by the University is a violation of the Student Conduct Code. A University Identification Card falling into any of these categories may be confiscated by any student, staff or faculty member in the course of his/her charged work responsibility. More information can be found in the Student Conduct Code.
