The Nuclear Recruitment Through Undergraduate Research (NURTURE) program provides paid experience in the field to minority community college students.
More than 40% of UMass Lowell’s undergraduate students are transfer students from community colleges or other universities. All come with college experience and success, but the adjustment to a new institution, its culture, practices and opportunities can be challenging.
The Transfer Alliance Program (TAP) is here to help make your transition to UMass Lowell as smooth as possible, ensuring that you get everything you need to be successful from the start.
When you join this program, for your entire first semester, you’ll be paired with a transfer student who has already successfully transitioned to the UMass Lowell community. Joining TAP gives you access to success workshops, faculty and alumni networking opportunities and more.
