Group Fitness classes are open to current UMass Lowell students, faculty, staff and Campus Recreation Center (CRC) Members. Please register for classes using our Campus Recreation online schedule system.

The Campus Recreation Center will be closed May 19 - 26, 2025 for our annual cleaning and maintenance. Our Summer Group Fitness schedule will run May 27 - June 26, and July 14 - August 22, 2025.

Note: There will be no group fitness classes on holidays when the university closes or when the university closes for inclement weather.

Spin-BikeReserving Your Class

Please book classes ahead of time using the Campus Recreation online schedule system. The first time you use the system you will create a user account:

  • Click on the "buy" tab (it is free).
  • Select the packages tab.
  • Add the unlimited class pass to your cart.
  • After you do this once you are all set for the year. You can book a class one week in advance.

If you end up not being able to attend please log back in and under the "My Sessions" tab you can cancel out of the class. If you "no show" to a class or cancel within the hour 3 times you will not be able to register for classes for two weeks. This is so others that will come to class get a bike and we don't run classes with empty spots.

You can show up and if there are spots available and register you on site, but to ensure you get a spot please book ahead.
