STARs: The UMass Lowell Behavioral Intervention Team

  • The UMass Lowell behavioral intervention team, called Students at Risk (STARs), is a collaborative team made up of representatives from the Dean of Students’ Office, Student Health Services, the Counseling Center, Disability Services, Campus Conduct, EMS, and the UMass Lowell Police Department.

STARs: Secure Reporting Form: This secure form will be directly sent to the Office of Student Affairs for timely review.

Blue Folder: Student Crisis Response

  • The Blue Folder provides resources on early academic, physical, and emotional warning signs in student behavior in addition to showing signs of someone who may be considering suicide. It also provides information on how to assess the level of concern and who to contact.
