Farm to Factory (Grades 3-5) focuses on the transition from an agrarian society as experienced by young people who left their New England farms to work in the mills. Some members of the class dress in 19th-century clothing, and every student will pick, card, and spin wool, and weave cloth on small looms. A great pre-visit activity to prepare your students for attending our "Change in the Making" program.
