Biosketch

Talitha Dantas is a graduate research assistant and a current epidemiology master's student at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Her research experience spans from implementation science, focusing on developing and implementing health interventions to enhance well-being, to computational cancer research and environmental health.

Talitha's primary research interests lie in epidemiology, particularly nutritional epidemiology. She is dedicated to contributing to research efforts aimed at improving public health. Currently, her practicum is set to be environmental health-focused, specifically examining occupational exposure to chemicals such as PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). Her research interests include nutrition, environmental science, sustainability, community health, and cancer survivorship.
