Biosketch
Paulette Renault-Caragianes has been with the university since 2015. In her former role as Associate Dean of Student Affairs - Health & Wellness at UMass Lowell, Paulette’s primary responsibility is oversight and support of the Wellness Center. She serves on a variety of committees and task forces in the University. She has been twice recognized as part of a team awarded one of the Chancellor’s Pillar awards.
Prior to UMass Lowell (UML), Paulette held a variety of roles including as the Director of Public Health for the City of Somerville Mass., as Director of Adolescent Programs at Lowell Community Health Center, Director of Human Services for the City of Lowell, as well as working as a registered nurse specializing in Maternal Child Health. Paulette has been recognized at both UML and Suffolk University as a distinguished alumna and is a member of the UMass Lowell chapter of Sigma Theta Tau and Alpha Sigma Lambda.
Paulette lives in Lowell and has served on a number of not-for-profit boards in the city.
In addition to her academic credentials, Paulette has completed the LEND Fellowship Program based at the Shriver Center at UMass Medical School, as well as being a fellow in the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundations Massachusetts Institute for Community Health Leadership.
