The Office of Multicultural Affairs Social Justice Center promotes a community space for students of all identities to come together engaging in dialogue around diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice themes. Community exploration around understanding social justice in a broad lens in our university, community and greater world.

Ongoing Goals
- Develop and strengthen partnerships across the university and greater Lowell community.
- Incorporate into the many facets of the UML diversity and inclusion action plan.
- Create a central hub to support students as world events unfold.
- Bring international students together and build connections on a more continuous basis through targeted meetings and gatherings.
- Organize targeted proactive and preventative education efforts for learning about DEISJ before major events happen.
- Apply and integrate programming and education around different areas of wellbeing.
- Expand ideas around social justice in the areas of environmental and financial justice.
