UMass Lowell’s Center for Public Opinion conducted a survey from Monday, May 6, through Tuesday, May 14, 2024, of 600 likely New Hampshire voters in the upcoming 2024 U.S. general election regarding the election and New Hampshire governor’s race.

Key Findings:

  • Six months out from the 2024 general election, President Joe Biden leads former President Donald Trump 42% to 36%.
  • Consistent with findings from previous UMass Lowell Center for Public Opinion polling in October 2022 and December 2023, more than half of New Hampshire Republicans polled (64%) remain supportive of reproductive rights in every state.
  • Most New Hampshire Republicans polled (71%) remain stalwart in their belief that Donald Trump won the 2020 election and nearly two-thirds (61%) support full pardons for everyone arrested at the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.
