UMass Lowell is pleased to announce our subscription to GrantForward, a search engine dedicated to helping institutions and individuals find grants to fund their research. GrantForward replaces our previous grant search subscriptions, Spin (ended 09/30) and Pivot (ending 11/30).
Visit the GrantForward website and sign in with your UMass Lowell credentials to access the following benefits of our subscription:
- GrantForward covers more than 20,000 sponsors worldwide to provide a comprehensive database of more than 83,000 funding opportunities.
- GrantForward’s powerful search system helps to lessen the hassle of searching for grants with advanced search filters and specialized search features.
- GrantForward researcher profiles allow researchers to highlight their research achievements and interests to receive personalized grant recommendations that match their research needs.
- All UMass Lowell faculty, staff, and students have access to GrantForward.
For most UMass Lowell faculty and research staff, your GrantForward account and profile has been pre-populated with your research interests and publications. Within the next few days, you will be receiving an email from GrantForward notifying you of your account and how to access it. If your profile has not been pre-populated, log into GrantForward and under the Researchers tab, select “Create Profile” to start customizing your grant recommendations.
Brief tutorials on how to use the database can be found on the Grantforward page of the Office of Research Development website. Additionally, there are two upcoming opportunities to attend a training webinar hosted by GrantForward:
- Thursday, Nov. 9 from 2-3 p.m. ET.
- Wednesday, Nov. 15 from 10-11 a.m. ET.
