Genevieve Flock attended the University of Connecticut and received a Bachelor's of Science in Environmental Sciences and a Doctor of Philosophy in Animal Sciences with a research focus in food microbiology. She has worked at DEVCOM Soldier Center for five years and has focused in the areas of low moisture food safety, atmospheric water harvesting, validation of foodborne pathogen detection technologies and pathogen viability sensors. She continues to peruse research collaborations in these topics and hopes to expand into other food and water safety research areas.
