Dimensions is a database of faculty and institutions that combines citation, grant, and other data to help you find potential collaborators using a keyword search with a wide range of filters. This platform can also help you better understand the research community in your field as you plan your career.

GrantForward is a searchable database of funding opportunities and potential collaborators. Create a profile, save keyword searches, and receive email notifications of potential funding opportunities.

Consult with librarians at the University Library to find any specialized databases we may have relevant to your field, covering new research and collaborators.

UMass Lowell’s Core Research Facilities (CRF) offers more than 150 instruments in several labs across campus. Internal users may search the CRF database of all available equipment.

The University Library can consult on developing workflows with citation management software such as Zotero and EndNote, as well as creating data management plans to develop and document processes for data collection and storage. Many government funders will require that resulting data and publications are made Open Access and freely available on the web, which needs to be part of the grant plan. Campus IT can help with Research Computing needs such as shared drive set-up and high performance computing.
