Research Interests
Ciuchta's research interests focus on decision making in organizational and entrepreneurial contexts, with an emphasis on learning from experience and entrepreneurial financial decision making. He also studies academic entrepreneurship. He has a PhD from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Prior to joining academia, Ciuchta had a successful career as a corporate banker at Banc One Capital Markets.

Biosketch
Michael Ciuchta is an Assistant Professor, having joined UMass Lowell in the fall of 2014. Before joining UMass Lowell he served on the faculty of the University of Central Florida where he taught Entrepreneurship at the undergraduate, masters and doctoral levels. Prior to joining academia, Ciuchta had a successful career as a corporate banker at Banc One Capital Markets.
