Fuel Efficient Vehicles (FEV) reduce fossil fuel consumption and allow users to reduce their monthly gas expenses. As such, UMass Lowell finds it imperative to provide FEV parking spaces around campus, in the University's journey to become more sustainable.

EV Parking for the City of Lowell
The City of Lowell has 117 public charging station ports (Level 2 and Level 3) within about a 9-mile radius. Almost all the charging ports are specialized Level 2 charging ports, which allows for faster charging. More than half of the 117 charging stations in Lowell are free of charge. This layout of charging stations allows for great mobility, inexpensive charging options, and helps reduce the Lowell community's carbon emissions.
