The Luna Theater shows movies in a unique, vintage theater in downtown Lowell. The Evolution & Ecology Club in collaboration with the Office of Sustainability viewed a showing of Racing Extinction with students, faculty, and the public. Many other environmental movies are available to watch throughout the year at Luna Theater.

Mass. Wildlife is responsible for the conservation - including protection, restoration, and management - of Massachusetts' fauna and flora, including endangered, threatened, and special concern species. UMass Lowell is home to a mating pair of Peregrine Falcons, an endangered species of bird in the state. Become a volunteer for Mass Wildlife to help during breeding season!
