Peter Avitabile Elected to Fellow in the Society for Experimental Mechanics

Peter Avitabile has been elected to the grade of Fellow in the Society for Experimental Mechanics. This designation as an SEM Fellow is reserved to a select group of individuals that have made notable contributions to the Society and to the field of Experimental Mechanics. The SEM Executive Board confirmed the Fellow status being cited “for his pioneering work and dedication to the scientific understanding of structural dynamics and modal analysis, his willingness to broadly share his knowledge amongst students and peers, and his dedication to the SEM community.”
