Visible allyship can make a powerful difference in helping LGBTQ+ people feel seen, welcomed and supported. Small acts of inclusion can spark conversations, build community and show others they belong.
The Show Your Pride session explores the history of the LGBTQ+ Pride movement, the evolution of the Pride flag and the meaning behind its colors. Following the presentation, participants will create their own beaded Pride bracelets inspired by the Pride flag. Bracelets can be worn as visible symbols of support, shared with others or donated to Greater Boston PFLAG for distribution at Pride events and community programs throughout the year.
